The Bible Class - Room FB-6

This class is studying the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Come join at any time. All ages welcome. Led by Goran Haag.

Bob Thomas Bible Class - Room FB-3

Class of 60+ years young participants. Lecture format of the International Lesson Series with Bible study followed by discussion.

Cannon Class-Room FB-7 & FB-9

You will love this class of young seniors. Come join us for warm, friendly fellowship. Class begins with singing favorite old hymns, followed by studying with lively class participation. Led by a panel of teachers.

Explorers -Room FB-8

We are a mix of ages, couples and singles, but we all have one thing in common-our desire to know more about God. We study everything we can find from intense Bible study with discussion to books written by modern, respected religious leaders, to comedy Christian videos. If you are looking for a group that will laugh and pray with you come check us out. Led by a panel of teachers.

Faith Builders - Room FB-5

This class is made mostly of young families. The enjoy Bible based studies that have application for their lives today. Join an exciting and energetic group of men and women as they study and grow in God’s grace.

New Dimensions ClassNo Assigned Classroom

This class is studying with other Sunday School classes this quarter.  New Dimension leaders are Carrie Gracey and Gail Ruth. 

Open Door Class- Room F-13

We are open and welcome our guests with the hope that you will find a place with us to learn and grow in Christ. We have folks from college age to over the hill, but everyone feels comfortable participating in our discussions It is nice to have the perspective of such a diverse group of individuals. We study the Bible together and apply it to our lives daily. We love to laugh together and we care for each other in times of need. Open Doors class stays focused on the mission and the vision of the church, in hope to grow more Christ-like.

Saints Alive - Room FB-4

Come join this exciting group of women and men as they explore Scripture or a book study. Through spirit-led discussion, you will learn how God had nurtured disciples, forming the faith we practice today. This class is led by a group of teachers and invites you to join.

Seekers of the Word -Room FB-2

Our mission is to study and seek God’s Word through Bible study and apply it to our daily lives. We are seeking a better understanding of who God is and what he does. This group of varied ages uses discussion and workbook to help facilitate their learning.

Nondenominational Bible Study: Gospel of Luke
Thursdays 9:30 to 11:00am, Rooms FB-7 & 9  (Starts  January 15th)

A comprehensive study of the book of Luke, with lectures provided by Joanette Jorgenson, Teaching Director, The Woodlands Community Bible Study.  Monthly fellowship brunch.  All are welcome.


Esther: It’s Tough Being A Woman
Thursdays 7:30 to 9:00am, Room FB-7 & FB-9  (Starts January  15)
Led by Susan Bryant

Going up against heavyweights bent on her destruction, Esther trusted God and landed a blow that saved her people. The Old Testament story of Esther is a profile in courage and contains many modern parallels for today’s woman. Esther’s destiny can be yours as you know more deeply the God who is in your corner. Cost is $20.

Lenten Study
A special study will be offered to adults during Lent.  This study will help you focus on the true meaning of Lent and Easter.


Women’s Study: Resting in Him
Sundays  6:00 to 7:30pm, Room FB-13   (Starts January 18th)
Led by Rev. Patty Bergfield

This study is for women who feel pulled in too many directions and are seeking rest.  Unlike what the world offers, God’s rest is not a caffeine kick or a sugar high, but real rest that restores both body and soul.  Take a much-needed break and join us as we discover how to enter into the rest God has planned for us.    Cost is $10.

Join the Sunday evening Men’s Bible study and watch the messages delivered by the key speakers from the Promise Keepers convention .  Listen to the messages and share your thoughts on their relevance to our spirituality and everyday lives. 

Grief Share
Wednesdays 6:00 to 7:30pm, Room S-8  (Starts January 14th)

This is a class/support group for people grieving the loss of someone close.  They meet weekly to help you face the challenges after a death so you can move toward rebuilding your life through scripture, expert help and support from one another.   Begin your journey from mourning to joy.  Cost is $15

Divorce Care
Wednesdays  6:30 to 8:00pm, Room FB-11 (Starts January 14th)
Led by Al and Nancy Foytlin

Meet weekly to find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce.  This caring group of people will help you face your challenges and move you toward rebuilding your life.  Divorce Care features biblical teaching to help as you recover from divorce and separation.  Remember, you don’t have to go through it alone.  Find help.  Discover Hope.  Experience healing.  Cost is $15

Beginner to Intermediate Yoga
Wednesdays  6:00 to 7:00pm, Room FB-7 & 9  (Starts January 14th)
Led by Sherry Montes

Your mind, body and spirit will be rejuvenated through this class for     beginner to intermediate students.  Join Sherry as she leads you through a variety of poses, which vary by level of ability.  Sherry has been a certified yoga instructor for 4 years and has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in fitness and human performance.  Supplies:  yoga mat, bottle of water and comfortable attire.

First  Place 4 Health: A New Way to Healthy Living
Wednesdays 7:00 to 8:00, Room FB-5  (Starts January 14th)
Led by Wendy Searfass

This program is dedicated to the development of a spiritual, emotional and physical environment which leads to a life that honors God in Jesus Christ.  The goal is to develop, within each participant, the mastery of the basics of a lasting healthy lifestyle, so all may achieve their highest potential.  Wendy has a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science with over a decade of experience in nutritional counseling and education with a focus on weight loss and pediatric nutrition.

This group is open to people who like to sing and would like to entertain residents in a local assisted living facility.  The only requirement is that you want to have fun.  All ages are welcome!

Woman to Woman 
First Thursday of each month 6:30 to 8:15pm, Rooms E-10, S-8 and S-7
Led by Harriet Fether and Pat Lawson 

Come for fellowship, potluck and good discussion.  Join either the Bible Study group or join Reader to Reader, the Tomball UMC bookclub and read a different book each month.  This group is open to women of all ages and stages of life.

Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance
Wednesdays 7:00 to 9:00pm, FB-10, 12 & 13
